About Beauty Portraits

Love Who You Are

A Beauty Portrait is an opportunity to celebrate you for a day. To perhaps set aside the hustle and bustle of life and spoil yourself purely because you can. To be pampered and reconnect with the "beautiful" you already are. It is perhaps even an opportunity to see yourself like you haven’t before. A chance to preserve that vision of yourself should you forget. The Beauty Portrait can be many things but at its heart, its about Loving Who You Are.

The Journey

“If photographers are responsible for creating or reflecting an image of women in society, then, I must say, there is only one way for the future, and this is to define women as strong and independent. This should be the responsibility of photographers today: to free women, and finally everyone, from the terror of youth and perfection.”

Beauty Portrait - FAQ

What is the process?

The first step is the consult. This is where we identify the why and the what. Here we set expectations and discuss the direction of the shoot; is it a beauty shoot or a boudoir shoot or a combo of both.
Once that is nailed down, we set a date, have a great time at the shoot, after that the images are edited and published to a password protected gallery online.

Who is involved?

For the majority of the process its you and me. However, there is a hair and makeup person who gets you prepped on the day of the shoot. If you would like someone else at the shoot who you feel will be an encouragement and will help you feel the best you can, then bring them along! You get what we mean, the kind of people who are likely to say "yaaassss Queen!"

When and where does it happen?

The when and where depends on a number of things. Mostly, they happen during the day and at a hotel or an AirBnb. Some clients choose to do it in their own home if the location is suitable. You will look amazing on the day and so most people use it as an opportunity to have the night out.

How much does it cost?

Prices start at $995 and that includes a consult, the hair & make-up, the shoot and a set of images.

“I never thought of myself as the kind of person who would do a photoshoot but turning 30 prompted me to do something I've never done before. I was nervous and a little scared but it was absolutely worth it. I LOVE the images and I loved the experience!”
